And crushed quartz (silicon dioxide – SiO₂) is one of nature’s hardest minerals. Quartz countertops is blended with good polyester resins and pigments, and then compacted under intense vibration, vacuum, and high temperature high pressure into dense sheet. The non-porous engineered stone countertops are post cured and gauged to precise thickness, and polished to an enduring shine.
